Customer Care

Customer Care

We want you to be happy with your purchase. With years of experience dedicated to designing and making, we are proud of the jewellery and objects that we make to last and hopefully become future heirlooms.

As well as silver, you will find other materials that are sometimes used in Sarah O’Hana’s work. These may be new, old, previously used or found, but form part of the visual language of the piece, and are very carefully and deliberately chosen. Whilst we embrace the ageing qualities that materials take on over time, the following can help you take care of your piece:

  • Silver will keep its colour best when worn frequently. Polished rings will develop a sheen or patina in line with your daily wear and history with it. Keep your piece in its box to avoid scratching with other jewellery and protect it from daylight, which can cause oxidation. You can clean polished surfaces with a proprietary silver cloth or a piece of pencil eraser on satin-finished work.

  • Rubber and leather are durable materials, however you should avoid their contact with perfumes, make-up, hairspray, or detergents as they can cause their deterioration.

  • Wood is treated with quality beeswax before inclusion in a piece. Avoid getting it wet.

  • Fabrics require careful handling and might develop marks through wear. This is a natural ageing process that will show your history with it.

RINGS: can usually be ordered in most sizes, depending on the design. Please get in touch if you do not know your size before placing an order. We can mail out a plastic ring sizer for you to measure your finger.

Please get in touch by emailing sarah@ohana.co.uk if you have any queries.
